Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says “8000 workers” will deployed to Australia from Papua New Guinea to aid both the Agricultural and care sectors.
This took place after the Mr Albanese held talks with PNG Prime Minister James Marape over security, economics, & culture.
“Something that brings benefit to Australia, providing skilled labour and non-skilled labour in areas of need,” Mr Albanese told a press conference in Port Moresby on Thursday.
“It also provides economic assistance to Papua New Guinea as well.”
